目に見えない菌が集合し物質化したキノコは、人類が誕生する遥か昔から生存しています。菌は私達の身近に存在し、地球上のあらゆる生命を支える重要な役割を果たしてきました。一方で、人類が作り出したロボットは、成長し続ける菌＝キノコを脅威とみなし、戦うことを決意します。未来のある時点で、両者の戦いは頂点に達し、ロボットは最終手段として自爆を決意します。ロボットもキノコも消滅し、惑星は荒廃し、戦いは引き分けに終わりました。しかし、それで本当に終わりなのでしょうか？宇宙空間を漂う菌は、新たな惑星にたどり着き、菌＝キノコの新しい未来を築き上げるのかもしれません。

Invisible fungi materialize into mushrooms, which have existed long before humankind. These fungi are vital to life on Earth, while robots—human creations—view the ever-growing mushrooms as a threat and decide to fight. At a certain point in the future, their battle reaches its peak, and the robots make a final desperate decision to self-destruct. Both robots and mushrooms vanish, leaving the planet barren and the conflict unresolved. But is that really the end? Perhaps the fungi, drifting through space, will find a new planet to start their future once again.
